For this night, we bring you Run Logan Run and Yaatri at The Ivy House!

At the forefront of Bristol’s contribution to the pulsing new UK jazz scene come Run Logan Run, bringing scorching energy music for the 21st century. Guided by the searching and fearless tone of founding member Andrew Neil Hayes’ tenor saxophone, the music that emerges is fiercely committed, questing and risk-taking. Initially conceived as a duo with drummer Dan Johnson in 2016, the project continues to evolve a line up that has featured many of the city’s most innovative and experimental musicians, including drummer Matt Brown, producer Riaan Vosloo, and vocalist Annie Gardiner.

Influenced by the momentum of the rhythms of India, immersive timbres of electronic music, and energy of rock’n’roll, Leeds-based quintet Yaatri’s blend of complex composition and ethereal soundscapes captivates the heart as well as the mind.
