DESCRIPTION:Almost four years to the day after the initial show was due to take place – being called off as the first lockdown was announced on the same week – we’re finally coming back to finish the job and get this show done. \nThe initial show had grand plans\, and now that we’re bigger and better\, we’ve taken those plans and improved on them\, getting together an altogether grander show for you. \nThe Very Best of Dan Garwood will be showcasing one or two of the best songs from each of the bands Dan has been a part of over the last fifteen years. Yes it’s silly\, yes it’s fun\, as the tagline says – Come and see the hits you’ve never heard played by a bloke you’ve never met. \nThe performance is a mass collaboration with many artists. In the band we have Harry Morrell on drums\, Bill Young on bass and Tom McBrien on keys. There will also be special guests making appearances. The excellent Eddie Langham will be styling the costume. Lewis Taylor will be performing alongside also. Choreography from the talented Rosie Taylor. \nThe support bands are: \n\nCreamer & Wesley – 7.30pm\nPilava – 8.30pm\n\nExpect tongue in cheek fun\, stylised costume\, music and dance. We’re going big on this\, and after four years of anticipation\, we can’t wait to show you what we’ve come up with.

Playing with fellow band member Josh Flowers in a stripped back performance of her upcoming EP\, As A Mother. \n************ \nAtlas Club hosts friends\, friends of friends\, and strangers alike in a regular\, safe space in which musicians can explore both old and new work. \n£10 (no one turned away for lack of funds). \nAll of the night’s profits will be distributed amongst the musicians.

He can tackle anything from Shape Note songs to the work of Robyn Hitchcock.\n\nSonny Brazil sings traditional songs and plays melodeon. He is also part of the amazing Goblin Band!

DESCRIPTION:Evening of live performance by Sona Koloyan and Fen Trio to celebrate the release of Sona’s debut EP\, “Speaking Stones”. \nTo celebrate the release of “Speaking Stones”\, her debut EP\, Sona Koloyan will perform at the Ivy House with an 8 member ensemble. As is her live performance signature to morph and dissect her music on stage\, the show will feature songs from the EP alongside repetitions and meditations\, ensemble improvisation\, elongations\, new bits\, and surprises for the audience… \nThe evening will include support from the wonderful Fen\, who will merge folk with experimental string drones and release magic onto the stage. \nThe recording and release of “Speaking Stones” was supported by Arts Council England and Help Musicians UK.

A rare solo outing of new material will open this show\, and a surprise duet may (or may not be) on the cards.
